Congratulations to this happy looking bunch!!
Over the last 8 days they have hiked with Courage, Mateship and Endurance, honouring our descendants that payed the Sacrifice of life in the Kokoda Campaign in 1942.
They have successfully completed the 96km of the Owen Stanley Range and walked under the famous arches at Owers Corner.
After enjoying an SP and hot chicken roll for lunch, they are off to visit the Bomana War Cemetery, the resting place of 3,779 service personnel from a variety of Commonwealth nations.
We would like to thank our Australian Guides and Medic Noreen and our local team from PNG, the descendants of the Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels, for their amazing support, kindness and care to get this team of trekkers across the Kokoda Track safely and with full bellys.
